Ex-presidential candidate from the BPF Rygor Kastusiou filed an application to the Supreme Court of Belarus to reconsider the decision of the Central Election Commission on the recognition of the presidential elections' results. As reported in PBNF, the statement includes a list of violations, recorded by observers, the election commission members and candidates' representatives.

«I have no hope for a just solution of the Supreme Court. My statement might not even be accepted for consideration. Nevertheless, I am convinced that I had to apply to reconsider the decision of the CEC in view of violations. Let  the decision on my application remain on the conscience of the Belarusian authorities,» Rygor Kastusiou said.

According to Telegraf, the Central Election Commission did not satisfy the requirement of the former presidential candidate Rygor Kastusiou on December 24 to recognize the illegal presidential election across the country. CEC members took this decision unanimously. According to the CEC head Lidia Yermoshina, there was every reason to dismiss the complaint of Rygor Kastusiou.
