Kazakhstan — Light of Democracy, Lukashenko

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko recalled President Nursultan Nazarbayev, as an  example of a long-term ruling of the country, during an interview with the Polish media on November 4. "Kazakhstan is the light of democracy! I'll stay as much as I want," the Belarusian leader responded to the journalist's remark that it's impossible for a single person to be president for 16 years in other countries.

«It’s your problem. It’s possible in Belarus, as well as in Russia,» Alexander Lukashenko stressed. When the journalists noticed that Vladimir Putin is no longer the Russian president, the Belarusian leader joked: «How come? And who?»

Moreover, Alexander Lukashenko said that «informally, we can arrange anything,» Belsat reports.

«I also had an option to arrange a combination, and I was offered to do this. I said «no»,» Alexander Lukashenko said.

«We are willing to share everything in half with Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, being in cooperation with us, because they have oil and gas. Azerbaijan. There are the same laws there. The whole post-Soviet space lives this way!» President of Belarus said.
