Officers of Belarusian State Security Committee detained an investigator of the central apparatus of the Department of Financial Investigations of the Committee of State Control. The Center of Information and Public Relations (CIPR) does not comment the information on this case.

«Our authorities have not let us disclose this fact yet», KGB’s CIPR chief, Alexander Antonovich, said, Ezhednevnik informs.

As it’s reported, the investigator of DFI SCC was detained on March 19, but a charge has not been brought yet. «It should happen in the next few days, after that the question of preventive measures’ application will be resolved», the edition notes.

In its turn, the DFI SCC does not doubt that KGB chairman, Vadim Zaitsev, will use his right and issue an arrest warrant. «Meanwhile, the new case initiated by KGB is very, very ambiguous. KGB keeps silence about this case because of obvious reasons, and DFI SCC does not possess sufficient information about the incident. We know exactly only name and last name of the detainee and nothing else», the source informs.
