Commander of internal troops of Belarus, Valery Gaidukevich, said that there is a plan to form special forces to protect Belarusian nuclear plant. According to the commander, the unit staff will be completed with soldiers of contract service -who will go through the special selection.
«The unit will be formed in 2013. There is a groundwork of legal base, at first, and, secondly, this year we will recruit officers to train in this specialty», said Valery Gaidukevich, reports CTV channel.
«The selection will be realized by the KGB, plant’s secutiy service will be entrusted with the primary responsibility. It would eliminate unauthorized persons’ entering to the territory of the station», said the commander of internal troops of Belarus.
