Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Russia, Alexei Kudrin, urged the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States to introduce direct quotation of their currencies to each other, to perform calculations without comparing with dollar or euro. "Our currencies are not of direct quotation, we are working through dollar or euro, any often during our transactions", Vice-Premier of Russia said.
Moreover, Alexei Kudrin believes that to achieve significant improvement of foreign exchange market of the CIS countries, it is necessary to expand the list of financial information. According to the head of Russian Finance Ministry, the CIS countries interexchange the list «to understand our foreign currency outlooks», RIA Novosti informs.
Alexei Kudrin also offered to make amendments to national legislations, which would allow enterprises of different countries to realize payments in any currency of the CIS countries between them.
