Kyrgyzstan didn't Request to Arrest Bakiyev, Interpol

Secretary-General of Interpol Ronald Noble stated that the International Criminal Police Organization didn't receive request to arrest Kurmanbek Bakiyev. Azimbek Beknazarov, the vice-premier of provisional government of Kyrgyzstan informed, that the authorities of Kyrgyzstan had addressed for assistance in detention of the ex-president.

«Usually we include someone in the Interpol list only after we are requested to give out so-called Red Notice concerning the searched person who is to be arrested», PRIME-TASS quotes the words of Secretary-General.
 
Ronald Noble also added there was no Red Notice, that’s why Interpol was not going to search for the president of Kyrgyzstan.

Belarus, where Kurmanbek Bakiyev is now , refused to extradite him to Kyrgyzstan.
