Lukashenko Agrees to Convene Extraordinary Session of Parliament in September

Fifth Extraordinary Session of the House of Representatives of the fourth convocation will start its work on September 7, 2010. The relevant decree was signed by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.

The MPs will meet to consider agenda issues, defined by the decision of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus on June 30, MI Internet portal informs.
 
Under this decision, the parliament will examine the national budget for 2011, as well as the budget of state off-budget Fund of population’s social protection of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus for 2011.

Furthermore, draft laws on amendments and additions to tax and budget codes of Belarus are also submitted to the parliament.

If necessary, the agenda can include other issues, with possible setting of presidential elections date among them.
