Professor of the University of Caracas, Elsa Cardozo, believes that Alexander Lukashenko's visit to Brazil can get more importance. According to the expert, a new partnership can be created during this visit.

«It’s especially interesting in the light of the trends observed in Brazil’s foreign policy, in particular, President Lula’s approach in relation to Iran, to the conflict in the Middle East», noted the professor.

«I think this visit will be very interesting, because it demonstrates Brazil’s willingness to become a kind of international mediator in relations with difficult political regimes, as in these two cases», ensures Elsa Cardozo, informs Belarusian service of Radio Liberty.

«As we know there are a great debate about Iran and nuclear program of this country now. And Belarus has difficult relations with Russia at this time. This visit will give Mr. Lukashenko a more powerful, stronger resonance in the world», stressed the professor of the University of Caracas.
