Lukashenko Decides to Accompany Foreign Investors Comprehensively

President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed a decree № 273 which establishes the National Agency of Investment and Privatization. As noted in the Administration of Belarusian leader, this way the country is forming "a specialized organization for comprehensive support of investors (especially foreign investors)".

The agency is created on the basis of acting National Investment Agency, which is under the supervision of Ministry of Economy, through its transformation, and the main target of its activity will be to attract investment into our country, including to the privatization of state property.

National Agency of Investment and Privatization will be subordinated to the government, as well as its work will be monitored and coordinated by supervisory board. The Agency is to represent the state interests in attracting investment to Belarus, including the privatization of state property.
 
«The new status will enable the Agency to conduct full-scale work with public authorities, to ensure quality and interoperability of investors and regional government institutions, to become a «single window» for investors, regardless of how they came to Belarus as well as to improve the efficiency of privatization process in the country and attracting investments into Belarusian economy «, assured in the Administration of Alexander Lukashenko.
