Head of the United Civil Party, Anatoly Lebedko , commented on recent statements of the President of Belarus on the situation in Kyrgyzstan. "Alexander Lukashenko has not so much care about the fate of Bakiyev as about its own future. His brain simulates various situations", the politician said.

«It is obvious, that Lukashenko is frankly irritated by position of Russia, who so easily repudiate its recent protege. This is a bad message for the Belarusian ruler, and he can not control his emotions», the UCP website quotes the words of the Party’s leader.

According to Anatoly Lebedko, «the more Lukashenko speaks on this subject and invites the former president of Kyrgyzstan in Belarus, the clearer become his fears and the more knots -which he will have to untie himself — he ties».

As Telegraf previously reported, in an interview to the journalists on April 18, Belarusian leader declared that he still considers Kurmanbek Bakiyev as President of Kyrgyzstan and is ready to grant him political asylum in Belarus.
