Lukashenko Gave Three-Hour Interview to Washington Post

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko gave an interview on February 28 to the American newspaper Washington Post, which is one of the three largest daily newspapers in the United States. As it became known to Telegraf, an interview lasted approximately three hours in total.

Head of State answered dozens of questions relating to the domestic and foreign policy, economic and political situation in Belarus, personal biographies and hobbies, the press service of the President informed.

According to Telegraf, Alexander Lukashenko previously demanded from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to intensify the search of the European investors, ready to invest in the Belarusian economy. «Your task here, Sergei Nikolaevich, is a constant search for major influential business tycoons of the world level with wide contacts and weigh in the government circles,» said Alexander Lukashenko to Foreign Minister Sergei Martynov.
