Lukashenko Is Afraid to be "Lost" in "Giant Space" of Brazil

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Belarus is not ready to establish comprehensive cooperation with Brazil, which, he said, is "a huge country according to world standards." "Frankly, if you build such plans, we are can be lost in such a space," — noted Belarusian leader. 

On Monday, March 22, during negotiations with governor of the Brazilian state of Goias Alcides Rodrigues Filho Belarusian head of state explained that during his current visit to Brazil, he aims to «choose the basic direction of economic and trade cooperation», BelTA informs.

«We need something to cling, and from this springboard we will be able to expand our cooperation as much as possible», — said Alexander Lukashenko, noting that «in this regard Belarus is lucky.»

«We have chalked out cooperation with a huge state of Brazil, whose population is nearly 30 million people, with huge GDP and a very developed economy, which needs those goods that are produced in Belarus», — Belarusian leader said.

«I very much hope that you will help us not only to establish the relationship between your state and Belarus, but also to know Brazil better,  and will lead us in cooperation with Brazil. It is very important not to make mistakes here,» — President of Belarus said to the governor of Brazilian state and assured Alcides Rodrigues Filho in fact, that Belarus will fulfill all obligations and solve any problems.
