Lukashenko Looks to Partners of Belarus for Simplification Access to Markets

The president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated, accepting the credentials of foreign ambassadors that Minsk considers trade and economic questions to be priority in international relations. "We are interested in simplification of access of the Belarusian goods to the traditional and new markets", the head of the Belarusian state specified.

Besides, according to the Belarusian leader, Minsk is interested to attract modern technologies and investments from abroad and diversify delivery channels of raw materials and power resources as the economy of Belarus is opened and export-oriented, BelTA informs.

Alexander Lukashenko noticed that geopolitical position and historical and cultural features of Belarus condition «balanced and constructive interaction with the set of partners in various regions of the world».

Stable and constructive relations with EU are necessary to Belarus, Lukashenko

Accepting credentials of the ambassadors of Austria and Portugal in Russia and Belarus in combination, the Belarusian leader stated that he is aspired to establish stable and constructive relations with the European states and EU as a whole.

«We highly appreciate Austrian role in development of investment cooperation with Belarus. I think that it is time for us to start realisation of larger joint economic projects», the president of Belarus told the Austrian ambassador.
