Lukashenko Ordered to Speed up Assimilation of China's $ 15 billion

 At a meeting with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky informed the President about the implementation of large investment projects. The Belarusian leader instructed the head of the government to speed up the process of business plans submission to implement some important projects with China.

A package of documents on the implementation of joint Belarusian-Chinese projects for a total of $3.5 billion was signed in Beijing. The funding of these projects is to start in December. President of Belarus is targeting to work out projects with investments of at least $ 10 billion from $ 15 billion credit line, the press service of Alexander Lukashenko reported.

In particular, the President noted the need for speedy projects implementation in the area of reconstruction and modernization of the petrochemical industry.

In this regard, the press service reminded that Belarus has the task to reach the 92% oil refining depth within two or three years, which corresponds to the best world-level plants. In addition, machine-building enterprises will be modernized. 30 projects for modernization of energy systems have been prepared, there are new construction projects as well.

President of Belarus demanded to present projects to Chinese partners in the nearest future.
