The incumbent president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko did not say whom he'd voted for in the elections on December 19. "My little son told me: " Don't tell, Dad, it's a secret ballot." I will say tomorrow; why should one raise the rating?" the Belarusian leader said. By tradition, Alexander Lukashenko came at the polling station with his youngest son, Nikolai.

Alexander Lukashenko, speaking to the press, also stressed that only the people of Belarus would determine the outcome of elections. «If they want a second round — there will be a second round; if they decide everything in one round — it means that one round is enough. Ballots will be counted today and the commission will announce its verdict. Today you can see a completely equal and vulnerable president,» RIA «Novosti» quoted Alexander Lukashenko.

Besides the Belarusian leader said he was willing to cooperate with anyone, standing for stability and security in Belarus, including some alternative candidates, running for presidency this year. Nevertheless, Alexander Lukashenko did not voice any specific names, BelTA informs.

I’m Out of Dialogue with Bandits and Saboteurs, Lukashenko

«I’m out of dialogue with bandits and saboteurs, but with a normal opposition. I must confess that there are some, not many, but normal people, sane, with their position and point of view, among the alternative candidates,» the president stressed

«I am ready to cooperate with anybody, with the opposition, non-opposition — with people who want to live in their country and ensure its independence, so that our country could be calm and beautiful, as much as I want it to be,» the Belarusian leader added.
