President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on March 26 during the presentation of state awards stated that "there are few places like Belarus left in the world. Naturally, we understand that being a White Russia and independence are not so easy given. But we must do everything to save our own state", — said the Belarusian leader.

According to the President, «this is not some sort of attack against the dictates of time.» «Simply, our people deserve to have on this planet a piece of land for children and grandchildren, to be not blamed for the fact that we did not saved and not granted them the legacy of this land — corner where they can always return, where they are will be waited by their relatives, «- noted Belarusian leader.
Alexander Lukashenko stressed that all that «done in Belarus today, aimed at ensuring national security and preservation of sovereignty.» «Those screams, which are now heard from almost all sides: they do not care with whom to be a friend — with the West or East, it is still bad, the response to them is simple: we want to preserve our state,» — said the president of Belarus.
«But we are looking for happiness in places where we are accepted, respected and decently payed for our labor. I think you understand what is at stake,» — added the head of Belarus during the presentation of awards.
Lukashenko will continue to «build up the energy potential of Belarus»
The Belarusian leader also noted that a significant group among the awardees are workers and specialists of the energy complex.
«It is no coincidence — the industry plays an important role in implementing of all our plans. Therefore, in recent years, great attention is paid to building up energetic potential, modernization of existing and construction of new power plants, energy efficiency improving,» — said president.
According to Alexander Lukashenko, Belarusian society needs «important example of people who can not only think in modern, creative way, but also achieve tangible results, benefit the Fatherland with own deeds.
Furthermore, among the awardees are many members of the armed forces of the country, as well as industrial associations and professional design offices working on defense. «Their professionalism and exemplary performance of their duties ensure the safety of our state,» — said President of Belarus.
President also noted that among the recipients are artists, scienctiest and teachers. «Thank you for significant and valuable things, that you create» — Alexander Lukashenko appealed to them.
In general, the president of Belarus announced gratitude and presented state awards to 47 citizens.
