Lukashenko Promises Equal Conditions for All Presidential Candidates

All presidential candidates will have equal conditions at upcoming elections. It was sated by Alexander Lukashenko in an interview to Euronews. "I have no need to create unequal conditions. Because you know what happens around these elections, especially in Russia, I do not even mention Europe (Europe will "put a pressure" on me anyway)", the head of state reported.

«Why do I have to create additional precedents  and additional facts to be criticized for that I am illegitimate, that I have held wrong elections? It is absolutely unnecessary for me. I know the situation in the Republic, I know the rating of each of possible rivals, who want to become the president. Well, I have made a mistake … Do they want to be the president? This is another question», Alexander Lukashenko said, presidential press service informs.

At the same time, the head of state promised that he would not participate in elections if he saw that «there is no support, and the people have already tired of Lukashenko, and they, in their majority, do not want Lukashenko works on this post».

At the same time, Belarusian president stated once again that he was not frightened by the prospect of the Kremlin’s refusal to support him.

Alexander Lukashenko explained the reason for his victories at previous elections in that he faithfully complied with aspirations of people, even, «perhaps, I do not agree with the people’s position on some issues today, but I did the way the people wanted». «Maybe you know that according to experts, we should slacken prices for all that can be privatized, everything we have. But the people do not accept it. And I, as an economist, without violating economic laws tried to act carefully as the people of Belarus wishes. So my people has supported me all this time», the president said.
