Lukashenko Remitted Two Monthly Salaries to Victims of Terror Act

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has remitted two of his monthly salaries to the charity account to help victims of the terrorist attack at "Kastrychnitskaya" subway station. This was reported in the Administration of the President.

The Minsk City Executive Committee made a proposal to the Administration of the President to send some portion of funds, earned in the national work day, scheduled for April 16 to help the victims and to restore «Kastrychnitskaya» subway station.

According to RBC agency, the president of Belarus receives about $300 a month of salary. Meanwhile, according to the disclosure statements, provided by Alexander Lukashenko during his election campaign, his annual income amounted to more than Br90 million. Accordingly, the monthly salary of the head of state received about $2.5 thousand.

As Telegraf previously reported, Minsk City Executive Committee has opened several charity accounts in the department № 539 of Belinvestbank specifically to help the victims of the terrorist attack in Minsk subway. In addition, city officials have determined the size of financial assistance to families of those, killed and injured in the explosion at a subway station.
