Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko promises to dismiss the government if it does not ensure stability in the country. This was stated by the Head of State at the meeting on the current situation in the consumer and FX market on May 27.

«If you have figured out that Br5 thousand removes speculative demand, provide it then. But there should be every day dynamics. If there’s no momentum, you first — Mikhail Vladimirovich (Miasnikovich, Prime Minister of Belarus — Telegraf) and Petr ( Prokopovich, head of the National Bank — Telegraf) — leave your party ticket on my table, speaking in the Soviet language,» BelTA quoted Alexander Lukashenko.

Alexander Lukashenko demanded to take control of all who are sabotaging the decisions of the government. «If today’s decision forbids profiting by the problems, but someone does it, use any method: deprive of license, put in jail,» he said.

Addressing those present at the meeting, the head of state warned that he «did not come today for sweeping some people away on the street.» «But I warn you: if you fail following my requirements — heads will roll. You will no longer make the crisis manager of me. Everyone is sitting with a portfolio — so do work!» he said.

«Remember one thing — they won’t let us live quietly, the president said. — We knew it in the middle of last year, we were warned: we’ll make it hot for you in April and May. So they did. They started with rumors, generating hype. Thanks God we still have not begun to fight, as in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Spain, Greece and so on.»

«So wake up and come to your senses, if you want to live in a peaceful country,» stressed Alexander Lukashenko.

«Today it is clear who warm up this excitement and wants to grab all the best that is in Belarus.» Just imagine they want our assets! Money up front — the chairs will be tomorrow,» summed up Alexander Lukashenko.
