President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, is going to visit Brazil in the frames of his Latin American tour. According to Mexican mass media, it's expected that Alexander Lukashenko and Inacio Lula da Silva will meet next Monday, March 22, in Rio de Janeiro.

At this time, Alexander Lukashenko is visiting Venezuela. However, it’s not reported which Latin American countries Belarusian leader is going to visit.

In February 2010, President of Belarus had a meeting with the governor of the Brazilian state of Goiás, Alcides Rodrigues Filho, reports RIA Novosti.

During the negotiations, the head of state said that he was ready to discuss the issues of share’s sale and privatization of Belarusian companies — which products Brazil is interested in — with the Brazilian side.
