Lukashenko Wants to Eliminate Emergencies Together with Poland

President Alexander Lukashenko has authorized the head of the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus Vladimir Vashchenko to negotiate on a draft agreement of the Belarusian Council of Ministers and the Polish authorities on cooperation in disaster prevention, natural disasters and other emergencies, as well as their mitigation.

The corresponding decree №105 was signed by head of state on 14 March, as well as the draft agreement was endorsed by the decree №396 of July 30, 2010 as the basis for negotiations, the press service of the President.

In addition, Vladimir Vashchenko was also authorized to sign the agreement if it would be reached by the parties regarding the project.
