President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will not stand any strikes and unsanctioned rallies in the country. Such a declaration was made by the head of state during a visit to the agricultural enterprise "Ozeritsky-Agro" in Smalavichy district, Minsk voblast on June 14.

«Our «conversant» (Minsk opposition — Telegraf) in Minsk call for strikes in social networks, the Internet. I’m going to watch now, but then I’ll bang and show them all — they will hardly be able to flee across the border,» BelTA quoted the Belarusian leader.

The President believes that it’s wrong to go on strike because of the authorities’ ban to export, fuel, cigarettes and other goods abroad for nothing.

«Such people were previously called speculators. They are the speculators. I’m not going to sit and do nothing. Is this so-called market economy? It’s not commonplace, but we are forced to introduce this very market. How shall I leave it as it is?» said Alexander Lukashenko.

The President recommended speculators to work in the field instead of being engage in the illegal resale of goods.

As Telegraf previously reported, Sunday, June 12, drivers blocked the road to Bruzhi border crossing at the Polish border in Hrodna voblat in protest against the decision of the Belarusian government to ban the export of certain goods outside the country.

More than 100 people were involved in a strike. The police detained 22 people, 15 of them have already been fined 70-75 base rates — from Br2.45 million to Br2.625 million (about $500 according to the official exchange rate).
