Lukashenko's Inauguration to be Held on January 21

The inauguration ceremony of the newly elected president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will be held on Friday, January 21. This was reported in the Administration of the Belarusian leader. The inauguration will be held at the Palace of the Republic. There will a gala concert after the ceremony. The ceremony will be broadcast by all channels of the Belarusian television. As Telegraf previously reported, the inauguration of Alexander Lukashenko, elected for the fourth term, won’t be attended by journalists.
 
By tradition, President-elect takes an oath in a solemn ceremony in the presence of members of the House of Representatives, members of the Council of the Republic, the judges of the Constitutional, Supreme and Economic Courts during the inauguration ceremony.
 
Assuming the office of the president, the elected head of state solemnly swears to faithfully serve the people of the Republic of Belarus, to respect and protect the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, to respect and defend the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and faithfully perform the high duties, assigned to him.
