Russian President Dmitri Medvedev has ratified the intergovernmental agreement with Belarus on ensuring the mutual supplies of military, civil and dual-purpose goods under the threat of aggression or war. This was reported in the Administration of the Russian leader.

The Intergovernmental Agreement provides a legal framework and mechanisms for bilateral economic and military-technical cooperation between the parties under the growing threat of aggression and war. In such circumstances, parties undertake to carry out mutual deliveries of goods within the mobilization plans for their economies.

As noted in the administration of Dmitri Medvedev, the implementation of this agreement will not entail additional expenditures of the federal budget of Russia.

As Telegraf previously reported, the agreement was signed in Moscow on December 10, 2009. Russian State Duma ratified the document on January 26, 2011.
