President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Moscow was ready to open $6 billion credit line to Minsk. "I've just spoken to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. He's phoned me. We are negotiating with the Russian Federation on a stabilization loan to bolster the Belarusian ruble," said the head of state.

«Judging by all the talks, they are ready to take both urgent and not so urgent measures to help us, depending on our situation. That’s about $3.1 billion, unless, of course, we sign an agreement with them,» said the Belarusian leader, accepting the report of Prime Minister Mikhail Miasnikovich, BelTA informs.

«Approximately $3 billion is future sales of our products. They are willing to bailout. It’s going to be over $6 billion in total, which is enough not only for this year stabilization but also for sound foreign exchange reserves as well,» stressed Alexander Lukashenko.
