Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has approved a draft agreement on coordinated macroeconomic policy, being part of the international treaties to create a legal framework of the Common Economic Space with Belarus and Kazakhstan. The Russian leader considers "reasonable to implement the signing of an agreement" at the highest level.

Dmitry Medvedev decided «to accept the proposal of the Russian government to sign an agreement on coordinated macroeconomic policy,» RIA Novosti news agency.

Nevertheless, the head of state allowed the Russian Ministry of Economic Development of the country to make amendments of no fundamental nature to the draft agreement, approved by the government, during the negotiations.

Three agreements are to be signed at the meeting of the Customs Union supreme authority of the three countries: on a coordinated macroeconomic policy, the agreed principles of monetary policy and the creation of conditions in financial markets to ensure free movement of capital.
