The first working group meeting on merger of the Belarusian MAZ and Russian KAMAZ will be held in mid-May in Minsk. "I'm sure to fly to Minsk in mid May, where we will hold the first meeting of a working group to establish our action program," said General Director of KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin.

Head of KamAZ has stressed that the union is a lengthy process, as it’s necessary to conduct an audit of both companies. «We do this all much easier, because we keep records of the international system of financial reporting, we have an international auditor … It’s hard to say what will happen to MAZ. I believe that the full scope of the audit can be implemented within six months after launch, but the start depends on the decision of the president.
