Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is negotiating the abolition of visa regime with Turkey, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Andrei Savinykh, said. "That's true, we are working hard with the Turkish side on the issue of visas abolition at all", the head of Information Department of Belarusian Foreign Ministry stressed.

However, as official representative of Belarusian Foreign Ministry noted, the abolition of visa regime is «bilateral process», BelTA informs. «I think its prospects are very positive», Andrei Savinykh said.

At a press briefing on May 20 Foreign Ministry spokesman also touched on the issue of signing an agreement with Lithuania on local border traffic, which negotiations have not been completed yet. «According to the consular department, one of the versions of the agreement has been recently transferred to the Lithuanian side», the head of Information Department of Belarusian MFA noted.
