Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Miasnikovich signed a decree of the Council of Ministers № 348 on March 21, thus approving the state property privatization plan. Resolution also approved a plan for the transformation of the republican unitary enterprises into joint stock companies in 2011-2013.
During this period, the republican bodies of state administration and state organizations subordinate to the Council of Ministers shall work together with the State Property Committee to implement the privatization plan before December 1, reported in the government.
In addition, the listed organizations should submit proposals to the SPC on the number of shares of public corporations which are subject to privatization, as well as a way for their privatization, within two months. In case of sale by tender — proposals on the terms of this contest and the annual balance of 1 January 2011.
In 2012-2013, the organization have to submit the annual balance sheet of companie with unsold shares of 1 January 2012 and 2013 to the State Property Committee until April 15.
Leaders of the specified bodies and organizations are responsible for carrying out work on the plan implementation; the decision shall enter into force after its publication.
The privatization plan for 2011 — 2013 includes a republican unitary enterprise and 244 business entities, whose shares are subject to privatization.
Belneftekhim will put shares of Grodno Mechanical Plant, JSC Medplast in Gomel, JSC Promzhilstroy in Mogilev and OAO Rechitsa textiles for sale.
The plan of transformation of the republican unitary enterprises into joint stock companies include 134 enterprises.
