Miasnikovich Found "System Drawbacks" in Five-Year Plan

Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Miasnikovich found "system drawbacks" in the draft Program of socio-economic development of Belarus for 2011-2015, the press service of the government. According to the Prime Minister, program approaches, adopted at the All-Belarusian Assembly, do not provide sufficient growth capacity of the Belarusian export to reach a zero trade balance in 2014.

In addition, Mikhail Miasnikovich pointed out that the draft program was not in compliance with the provisions of Directive № 4 of President of Belarus «On the development of entrepreneurship and stimulating business activity in Belarus,» as well as the National Security Concept of the Republic of Belarus, BelTA informs.

Belarusian Prime Minister instructed the developers of the project of social and economic development, primarily the Ministry of Economy, to promptly submit proposals to improve legislation, evolutionary reform property relations and create conditions for implementation of large production innovative projects in the Republic to the government.

Mikhail Miasnikovich also gave other orders to modernize the economy.
