Mikhalevich Suggests not to Send Belarusian Delegation to Euronest

Politician, Ales Mikhalevich, believes that it will be better not to send Belarusian delegation to Euronestt. "I have nothing against these people, but I am indignant that Brussels dictate us who will represent Belarus at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Eastern Partnership", opposition politician noted. 

According to Ales Mikhalevich, the appointment of Belarusian representatives in Euronest is as subjective as the appointment of the Council of the Republic of Belarus’s members by Alexander Lukashenko. «In my opinion, neither the House of Representatives nor the Belarusian opposition has a right to represent Belarus in Euronest», the politician said, Belarus partisan informs.

«So long as a legitimate mechanism of  selecting the representatives of our country in Euronest is absent, and any choice will be subjective, I suggest not to send Belarusian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Eastern Partnership» till the moment of legitimate Belarusian parliament’s election», candidate for presidency said.

The European Parliament approved a list of Belarusian representatives in Euronest, which includes Alexander Milinkevich, Alexei Yanukevich, Anatoly Lebedko, Sergei Kalyakin, Stanislav Shushkevich, Zhanna Litvina, Irina Kapariha, Angelika Boris, Alexander Yaroshuk.
