The leader of For Freedom (Za Svabodu) Movement, Alexander Milinkevich, plans to announce whether he runs for presidency in two days. It was reported on September 14 by deputy chairman of For Freedom (Za Svabodu) Movement, Yuras Hubarevich. According to him, Alexander Milinkevich's team is ready for elections.
«We are examining the possibility to convene an urgent meeting or to consult in other way — we will announce final decision in next two days. We will not leave the campaign without attention, we face the question of participation format. There are different options, but we would not like to anticipate the course of events», Yuras Hubarevich said, Belarus partisan informs.
Regarding the date of presidential elections, the representative of For Freedom (Za Svabodu) Movement noted that the desire to hold elections earlier meant a desire to hold a campaign in more favorable environment for the current president Alexander Lukashenko- both political and economic.
