Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, declared about Russia's willingness to further development of construction of the Union State with Belarus. Russian foreign minister stressed during "government hour" in the State Duma that "millions of citizens of Belarus and Russia to benefit from integration".
Sergei Lavrov underlined that Russia «intends to continue the strengthening of the Union State in every possible way, despite the development of other integration structures in post-Soviet space», BelTA informs.
As Telegraf reported earlier, the head of Russian foreign ministry, Sergei Lavrov, stated that the EU Eastern Partnership program aimed at bringing closer the EU and Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine could prejudice the relations between Russia and these countries. «But there are no reasons for concern so far», Sergei Lavrov believes.
