Belarusian Ministry of Economy issued recommendations to attract Chinese banks' investments. The recommendations give a list of actions, needed to attract Chinese investments to Belarus, including the preparation of technological tasks, the involvement of the general contractor and marketing research.
The first event, as noted in the Ministry of Economy, should identify the feasibility of the project, considering trends in the industry and region. The initiators of the project are offered to first evaluate markets of goods, works and services, as well as assess the prospects for exports. If necessary, the Ministry of Economy calls to attract investment agents to the project.
The Ministry of Economy stressed that the business plan and feasibility study should be made in U.S. dollars but in the Russian and the English languages at the stage of investment projects’ development.
Projects, concluded by the State Committee on Science and Technology, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economy, should be sent to the monetary committee of the Council of Ministers of Belarus and be subsequently approved by the government. After this application for credits can be directed to the Bank of China.
