Republic of Belarus, from April 8, 2010, the retail prices of rectified ethyl alcohol from food raw material are increased by 5%. This decision is stipulated by the decree of Ministry of Economy "On making additions and changes in the Decree № 145 of Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus on August 24, 2009".
In the Ministry stressed, that the decision was taken in order to effectively develop alcoholic beverage industry, taking into account the proposals of Belgospishcheprom.
Previous increase in alcohol was in August 2009, by 10%.
