Belarus and Israel are planning to develop cooperation in agriculture. This was discussed at the meeting of Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Ivan Bambiza, leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuffs of Belarus and a delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel on December 1.

«Belarus is interested in supplying cattle meat, eggs, brewer’s malt, mineral water, chocolate and alcohol to Israel. The Republic is also interested to enter other foreign markets via Israel,» BelTA quoted Ivan Bambiza.

In turn, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel Shalom Simchon said that Israel was willing to participate in the modernization of Belarusian agricultural production, supplying high quality equipment to the republic.

Shalom Simchon also responded positively to the invitation of the Belarusian side to expand the range of the Belarusian goods, sent to Israel, to increase the Belarusian export to Israel. «Israeli companies see the potential for fruitful cooperation with the Belarusian agribusiness,» the Israeli minister said, noting the importance of such a cooperation.
