Minsk Insists on Meaningful Conversation between Lukashenko and Medvedev

Head of Presidential Administration of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, and his Russian counterpart, Sergei Naryshkin, on April 6, during a meeting in Moscow, agreed on elaboration of the meeting between presidents of Belarus and Russia in the nearest future. However, Minsk's principle position is that the meeting should be concrete, substantive and informative, reported in the Presidential Administration.

Also, during the meeting, the heads of presidential administrations discussed problematic aspects of Belarusian-Russian relations and the prospects of activization of bilateral cooperation in all spheres, BelTA informs.

As it’s reported, the working visit of Vladimir Makei to Moscow was held according to the agreements, reached earlier in a telephone conversation between the presidents of Belarus and Russia, Alexander Lukashenko and Dmitry Medvedev.

«Chief of Administration of Alexander Lukashenko also held a series of meetings with Belarusian diaspora at the embassy of Belarus  and discussed the issues of more active involvement of Belarusians potential, living in Russia, in the implementation of specific trade and economic projects in Belarus,» reads the statement.

Furthermore, in Moscow, Vladimir Makei met with the State Secretary of the Union State, Pavel Borodin. They examined carefully current agenda for the integration processes within the Union State.
