Moscow Scares us by Tough Assessment of Elections , Yermoshina

Head of Belarusian Central Election Commission Lidia Yermoshina commented on the statement of the Presidential Administration that "Russian observers will give an adequate assessment of the Belarusian elections." "If you translate from diplomatic language into any other language, they clearly try to make us be scared with the tough election evaluation, so that not to expect leniency," Lidia Yermoshina said.

Head of Belarusian Central Election Commission has expressed the hope that Russian observers will not meet someone’s political order. «Assessment should not be inadequate, it must always agree with the reality. But since nothing of the kind has ever been stated by Russia to Belarus, it always makes worried,» Lidia Yermoshina said, «REGNUM-Belarus«.

According to Telegraf, on October 4 a Kremlin source said that Russian monitors of the presidential elections in Belarus, would give their «adequate» assessment of the voting course and its outcome.
