MPs Consider Belarusian-Russian Union Budget as Satisfactory

Deputies of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State recognized the Union State budget for January-June 2010 as satisfactory. Such a statement was made as a conclusion of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Budget and Finance meeting on October 28. 

As reported by the Parliamentary Assembly, the members considered the information of the Standing Committee of the Union State on implementing the Union State budget for 2010, as well as the operational report of the Accounting Chamber of Russia and the State Control Committee of Belarus on implementing the Union State budget in January — June 2010.

Execution of revenue budget amounted to RUB 3.8 billion (100.9% of the budget allocations of the first three quarters of 2010). Expenditures amounted to RUB 3.5 billion (91.8% of budget allocations) for this period.

The draft Union State budget for 2011 is drawn up in revenues and expenditures volumes of RUB 4.9 billion. RUB 3.2 billion of these revenues will be remitted by Russia, and RUB 1.7 billion — by Belarus, RIA Novosti news agency.

Deputies of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Belarusian-Russian Union intend to consider the draft Union State budget for the next session of the Parliamentary Assembly.
