On April 30, during the final show there was named the winner of the VII National Beauty Contest "Miss Belarus-2010". Owner of challenge crown and the title of "Miss Belarus-2010" is 22-years-old Lyudmila Yakimovich representing Grodno.
The growth of Ludmila is 172 centimeters, the parameters are 83-59-89. The most beautiful girl of the country is five-year student of the Institute of Law with degree in legal psychology. «By the final of contest I’ve already had one title — «Miss Photo». The symbol of the contest and its challenge prize is a golden crown, made by the order of National School of Beauty in 2004. It’s decorated of white gold and five hundred fianites and topaz. It should be noted, that in addition to the crown the winner also got a cash prize of 50 million rubles and the title of «Miss Photo». Anna Kindruk from Pinsk became First Vice-Miss and also received the title of «Miss Top Model» and a prize of 20 million rubles. The title of Second Vice-Miss and 10 million rubles was presented to Anastasia Harlanova from Gomel.
The jury of the final contest was represented by: the Minister of Culture Pavel Latushko, Russian pop-singer Sergei Lazarev, Head of the Presidential Orchestra Viktor Babarikin, freestyler Sergey Grishin and others. Among the spectators the one could see Oleg Proleskovsky, Natalya Petkevich and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who sat surrounded by the beauties of Belarus — First Vice-Miss «Intercontinental 2009» Maria Esman and model Yulia Sindeeva, Nasha Niva informs.
To remind, the national beauty contest has been held since 1998, its members — the winners of district and regional beauty contests. «Miss Belarus» is not an annual contest, it is held every two years, the last time it was won by Olga Hizhinkova, received the title of «Miss Belarus-2008».
