National Bank of Belarus Allowed Advance Payments for Imports from CU

National Bank allowed the Belarusian companies to freely use the advance payments for import products into Russia and Kazakhstan on March 16, 2011 for the unconditional fulfillment of the country's obligations under the Customs Union and Common Economic Space, reported the National Bank. 

«Removing the existing barriers and restrictions is intended to promote further harmonization of development of market relations and the creation of equal conditions and opportunities for economic entities of the three countries regarding the implementation of foreign economic activity,» the press service of the National Bank.

As Telegraf previously reported, Belarus places high hopes on forming CES of the Customs Union. This was announced by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at his meeting with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in Minsk on March 15.
