Revenues of the budget for January-September 2010 totaled Br21.4 trillion (about $7.12 billion), or 60.3% of the annual plan. Income tax reached the amount of Br2.4 trillion (68.4% of the annual plan). This was stated by the Finance Ministry of Belarus.
In addition, national budget received the VAT of Br8 trillion (63.4% of the annual plan) during January-September 2010. As reported by the Ministry of Finance, foreign trade revenues amounted to Br3.9 trillion (38.7% of the annual plan).
As it became known to Telegraf, according to October 1, 2010 the amount of the payers’ debt to the budget amounted to Br44.2 billion, having reduced by Br14.5 billion since the beginning of the year.
Republican budget expenses for January-September 2010 totaled Br23.5 trillion (59% of the annual plan), of which the nation-wide activities costs amounted to Br9.6 trillion (58.9%). In addition, the costs of the national economy grew to Br6.4 trillion (49.2%).
In this case, Br4.5 trillion (72%) was spent on the financing of social sector (social policy, education, health, physical culture, sport, culture and the media), the Ministry of Finance reported.
