Consulting firm Brand Finance has published an annual ranking of "500 most expensive world brands." None of the Belarusian company has been included in the list. Google has been recognized the most expensive brand in the world, which occupied the second position last year. Google's followed by Microsoft, Wal-Mart, IBM and Vodafone in the rankings.
The most expensive Russian brand is Sverbank: its cost exceeded $12 billion, according to «Vesti.Ru.» Having taken the 65th position, Sberbank is the only Russian company, which has been included in the top one hundred of the world ranking. According to Brand Finance, a brand of Sberbank occupies 19th place among the world’s banking brands.
Other Russian companies, which, beside Sberbank, have got in the ranking, are Gazprom (208th place), Beeline (243rd place), MTS (304th), Lukoil (348th), Rosneft(370th) and Magnit (422th).
