If the passenger customs declaration on imported cars is filled in by a citizen, filed and registered by a customs official before July 01, 2011, the customs clearance of such vehicles will be implemented at the currently valid rates.

If the passenger customs declaration is filed and registered by a customs office on July 1 or later, regardless of the entrance date of such vehicles, customs clearance will be implemented at the rate stipulated in the agreement.

Customs authorities are now working in emergency mode to let everyone register their cars purchased abroad at the rates of customs duties valid prior July 1.
