President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting on December 15 on the issues of the organization and implementation of the election campaign, as well as on the public security issues. "There is no need to force people for early voting. People should be asked to vote. But it is their right to decide when to vote," the head of state said.

As Telegraf previously reported, chiefs of «Mogilevkhimvolokno» calls on workers to vote in advance in Mahileou, talking about the possibility of attacks on election day of December 19 as a cover. Furthermore, according to one of the chiefs of the enterprise, the early voting process in the workshops will be controlled by the masters. They are obliged to report every day about those who have already voted and those who are still thinking.

Meanwhile, the head of the Central Election Commission of Belarus Lidia Yermoshina stated on December 15 that if the chief forces to vote in advance, one may contact the prosecutor’s office. However, according to the CEC head, if the chief requests to vote in advance, one should say: «I will come on the election day.»

3.4% of voters or more than 237 thousand people participated in early voting on the first day (December 14) of the presidential elections in Belarus. This was stated by the Secretary of the Central Election Commission Nikolai Lozovik.
