At the same time, Alexander Lukashenko demanded to improve the personnel policy in Minsk region. «My assignments to Leonid Krupets, during his appointment to the post of the governor, to put in order the situation with the staff have not been fulfilled. You have not put an end to the mess in selection and placement of executives and specialists of agricultural organizations. The business suffer from their high replacement and prolonged vacancies», the president of Belarus stressed.

President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on May 20 made a number of personnel decisions, according to which, the ex-chairman of the Council of the Republic, Barys Batura, was appointed to the post of the head of Minsk Regional Executive Committee, and Valery Ivanov became his first deputy.

Furthermore, Alexander Lukashenko, changed the leadership of Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuffs. Its former chief, Semyon Shapiro, will now hold the post of the chairman of Grodno regional executive committee and the post of Minister of Agriculture was taken by the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives on the problems of the Chernobyl Catastrophe, Ecology and the Environment, Mikhail Rusy.
