International experts, arrived in Belarus to study the circumstances of the death of journalist Oleg Bebenin, won't conduct their own investigation, but will only study the existing materials of the case. This was stated by the head of Minsk office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Benedikt Haller.

Two OSCE experts were received by the General Prosecutor of Belarus Grigory Vasilevich, and they are now studying the materials of the case, Telegraf reports.

«They aren’t conducting a new investigation — they are reviewing all the materials and developing their own solution,» Benedikt Haller said.

However, the head of the OSCE Office in Minsk was unable to tell what specific action program had been developed by experts together with the Attorney General.

As Telegraf previously reported, the OSCE Secretary General had instructed the OSCE senior police adviser to direct two forensic experts to Belarus in order to investigate into the death of opposition journalist Oleg Bebenin. Two criminalists from Sweden and Norway arrived in Minsk on 25 October.
