No Success in Search of a Lost Child in Forests near Petrikov

In the morning of July 18, 12-year-old boy, suffering from Down's syndrome, was lost in the forest in Petrikovsk district, Gomel region. The search had no results so far, the spokesman of Gomel regional department of the MES, Ruslan Gabrilev, said.

Around 6:00, the boy with his parents went to the forest for berries and was lost about two hours later. More than 40 people are searching the boy — police, forestry, officers of Petrikov and Zhitkovichy district departments of emergency situations.

On July 18, they inspected 20 kilometers of forest, but were not able to find the kid. The police organized to be on duty in the forest. Today, the search is being continued. There may be also used aircrafts of Mozyr squad of Bellesavia.
