Russian television channel NTV plans to show another series of the film "Godfather" about Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. The fourth part of the film of the program "State of emergency. The investigation." is called "Godbatska. The Last Fall."
It is said in the program trailer that the new film series will tell the audience about the facts of how «the deputy’s mandate rescued Lukashenko from prison,» «who faked suicide of journalist Oleg Bebenin» and how «the others were killed.» On top of that, journalists promise to show a frank interview with a Belarusian «death squad» fighter.
As Telegraf reported, Russia NTV television showed the three series of films. In the first part, shown in Russia on July 4, Russian journalists have accused the Belarusian authorities of involvement in the murder of some political opponents: Gennady Karpenko, Yury Zakharenko, Viktor Gonchar, Dmitry Zavadsky and Anatol Krasowski in late 1990 — early 2000’s. In response, the official Minsk accused the Russian TV channels of defaming the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
In the second part of the film all the previous charges were diluted with new facts about the political activity of Alexander Lukashenko, as well as with his personal biography facts. The third part of the show has been devoted by NTV journalists to the reveal of the income sources of Alexander Lukashenko family, as well as to the mental health of the Belarusian leader.
After showing «GodBatska 1» a number of Russian media have continued the information attack against Alexander Lukashenko. Numerous Russian journalists discussed the political situation in Belarus and expressed harsh criticism of the Belarusian leader.
At a recent press conference for Russian media, Alexander Lukashenko said that Russian press negative reports had been sanctioned by the Russian leadership, including President Dmitry Medvedev.
In addition the president of Belarus stated that he did not intend to respond to the Russian media information mud.
