Oil products production in January decreased by 17.6%

Volume of oil products production in Belarus in January 2011 declined by 17.6% in comparison with the same period last year to 1.95 billion dollars, reported the National Statistics Committee.

The production of diesel fuel decreased by 16.8% to 368.7 thousand tons., fuel oil by 29,2% to 280.9 thousand tons, lubricants by 57,8% to 5,3 thousand tons. However, production of gasoline increased by 3.1% to 225.6 thousand tons, AFN informs. 
Volume of oil production decreased as well, amounting to 141.9 thousand tons, which is 0,7% less than in January 2010. 
As Telegraf informed, First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko said, speaking on February 16 in the House of Representatives, that in January 2011, Russia did not fulfill its obligations to supply oil. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, for this period only 617 thousand tons were imported to Belarus instead of the planned 1.5 million tons of Russian oil.
